The NFFL Blog Mock Draft: Top Ten and Beyond!
For the past week, we've been having a bit of fun here at the Nagel Fantasy Football League Blog, playing mock draft in preperation for this weekend's real NFL draft. Here's how our the first ten picks shaped up and who pulled the trigger for those teams.
1. San Francisco 49ers: Aaron Rodgers, QB Cal (Woody!)
2. Miami Dolphins: Ronnie Brown, RB Auburn (JWebber)
3. Cleveland Browns: Alex Smith, QB, Utah (Nagel)
4. Chicago Bears: Braylen Edwards, WR, Michigan (Walleye)
5. Tampa Bay Bucs: Carnell Williams, RB, Auburn (Woody!)
6. Tennessee Titans: Mike Williams, WR, USC (Nagel)
7. Minnesota Vikings: Derrick Johnson, LB, Texas (Woody!)
8. Buffalo Bills*: Antrelle Rolle, CB, Miami (Walleye)
9. Washington Redskins: Adam Jones, CB, West Virginia (Woody!)
10. Detroit Lions: Alex Barron, OT, Florida State (Nagel)
*Buffalo trades Travis Henry to the Cardinals in exchange for their 8th overall pick.
So, how do you think the first ten picks look? We've got four different opinions shaping this mock draft. We could use a few more, though.
The Dallas Cowboys are on the clock. Who will choose for America's team?
Woody!

Cleveland, Tennessee, and Detroit all did well. The other teams did okay - for teams that didn't have the commish picking for them!
I know I've been a bit of a draft-hog but I wanna get this thing going again.
Alright, with the 11th pick in the draft, the Dallas Cowboys select Demarcus Ware, defensive end from Troy.
Parcells needs players to switch over to a 3-4 defense. Ware used to be called a "tweener." Now he's rising up the charts cause of the return of that style of defense.
The San Diego Chargers are on the board.
The Carolina Panthers select Troy Williamson, wide receiver from South Carlina.
The regional guy will be asked to replace Mushin Muhammad's output.
The Kansas City Chiefs are on the clock.
The New Orleans Saints select Thomas Davis, strong safety from Georgia. Of course, I said something much, MUCH different on my personal mock draft over at my blog.
The Cincinnati Bengals are on the clock.
Yeah, like I was going to let anyone else choose for my team. :)
The Cincinnati Bengals select Mark Clayton, wide receiver from Oklahoma. With Davis off the board, Marvin Lewis goes offense for the third year in a row with his first pick.
The Minnesota Vikings are on the clock.
