Maurice Clarett: Comedy or Tragedy?

This weekend, with no legal hurdles in the way, the former Ohio State star runningback began to audition for the NFL. It began pretty well with an improved, mature attitude. It ended with a weak performance in the all-important 40 meter time.

Was the dissappointing sprint time a product of a late change in strategy or just the same old Clarett? How do you Ohio State fans feel about this turn of events? Should he receive our sympathy or snearing? Would you want him on your team? How high of a draft pick is he now? Supposedly, the joke around the Combine is that Maurice will be the final pick of the draft, Mr. Irrelevent. If he were still around when the Bengals make their final selection, it might be worth it to see if Marvin Lewis can coach him back to the Heisman Candidate-favorite form he was less than two years ago.
